ConstructCo (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”) operates constructco.us. As a vertically integrated commercial contractor, we prioritize the security and integrity of the data entrusted to us. ConstructCo adheres to strict data minimization principles. We only collect and process personal data that is adequate, relevant, and limited to the specific business purposes disclosed below:
- Identifiers: Name, business email, phone number, and mailing address.
- Professional Information: Job title, department, organization name, and project-specific data provided during the RFP or bidding process.
- Digital Activity: IP address, browser type/version, and interaction data used for site security and performance optimization.
- Financial Information: Bank account and payment details used strictly for commercial transactions.
- Safety & Security Data: Images via authorized jobsite surveillance or project photography for safety, quality control (QA/QC), and site security.
3. How We Use Information
We collect personal information solely to conduct our business activities, including:
- Executing construction services and managing prime/subcontractor agreements.
- Validating identity for jobsite access and maintaining OSHA 29 CFR 1926 safety compliance.
- Responding to formal inquiries and fulfilling contractual or jurisdictional obligations.
- Improving the functionality and security of our digital platforms.
4. Information Sharing & Subcontractor Standards
ConstructCo does not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted partners required for project execution:
- Subcontractors & Vendors: Any third-party service providers engaged by ConstructCo are contractually required to maintain data security standards no less rigorous than our own and must comply with all applicable state and federal privacy laws.
- Regulatory Authorities: When required by law, permit acquisition, or to meet national security requirements.
5. Regional Rights (California & Texas)
ConstructCo provides specific protections and rights to residents of California (under the CPRA) and Texas (under the TDPSA), including:
- Right to Know & Access: The right to request a report of what personal data we have collected since January 1, 2022.
- Right to Delete: The right to request the permanent removal of data, subject to legal retention mandates.
- Right to Correct: The right to fix inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out: While we do not sell data, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC)signals as a valid request to opt-out of data processing for targeted advertising.
6. Storage, Security & Audit
- Security: We maintain a comprehensive written information security program (WISP) including administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. We subject our systems to regular internal security reviews to ensure the continued integrity of client and project data.
- Retention: Data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill business purposes or as required by law.
- Disposal: Data is securely destroyed or de-identified once it is no longer necessary to retain.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are strictly directed to professionals and are not intended for persons under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
